Some More Firsts!!!

One of the neatest things about having a child is their "1st's". The first time they smile, the first time they laugh, the first time they walk...I think you get the idea. Well, just this past week Caden had two "1st's". The first one was eating spaghetti for the first time and the second one was giving kisses. Christa stripped him down to just his diaper and bib and set the spaghetti right on his high chair. He went at it. In the end we think he had put more in his hair than in his mouth but in the end it was so much fun watching him enjoy himself.

The other day Christa told Caden to give her a kiss, he opened his mouth all the way and gave Christa a "big kiss". We were ecstatic that he linked the two together and to know that he used his mouth to kiss. Ever since then we have been having him give us kisses. He hasn't figured out to use his lips but just puts his wide open, wet mouth on you, its great. He doesn't do it every time but he is getting better. So, the next time you see us make sure you ask Caden for a "big kiss"!!!

Catching Up With The Times

Hello everyone!!! Christa and I have decided to get up with times and have our own blog. Our good friends Justin and Rebekah Rhodes started one over a year ago and we thought it was such a great idea to keep up with them.

As most of you know we have been living down here in sunny south Florida for over a year now. Caden just turned one and is walking everywhere (we can't keep him down). Over the past couple of months we have been throwing the idea of me going back to school to finish my degree, which is something that has been coming up continuously for the past several years now. With much thought and prayer for wisdom, we feel that is what we need to do. We are currently applying to schools and will know a little more in weeks to come. We hope that you all will catch on to our blogs and it will be a very convenient way to keep up with us. We love you all and look forward to sharing our lives with you.
