Boys in the kitchen

They grow up so fast!!! This reminds me of the song Caden likes us to sing at night...Oh be careful little feet where you go, oh be careful little feet where you go. For the Father up above is looking down with love so be careful little feet where you go.
This is our attempt of a Christmas family picture.

He loved making the gingerbread house. I think about a quarter of the candy made it to his mouth and some of the frosting which he thoroughly enjoyed.

This is what Caden likes to do in his kitchen outside. He brings the dirt, which I have given up on telling him not to play in the dirt, and mixes it with water and calls it cocoa. He brings the water back and forth from the kitchen to his picnic table then pours the larger cup of water into the smaller one until there is no water left and then asks for more water in the sweetest of voices.

Busy days...

One of Caden's favorite things to do is to help wash the cars. He really just loves anything that has to do with being daddy's big helper.
Caden loves his sister and Kinsey loves Caden.

I use this when I feed Kinsey at night and Jody uses it t read at night. Caden loves to put this flashlight on and walk down the hall. If you don't have one of these flashlights, I recommend getting one. They are great!!

My friend Renee has a daughter Hannah who is 6 days younger than Caden. She just had a baby girl, Leah, who is 11 days older than Kinsey. It is so great to have friends who are going through the same thing you are.

Caden's cousins came up for the day and they had a blast! The girls followed the boys around and Caden was just happy to have a boy to play with.

I can't believe my baby girl is over two weeks old. It is hard to remember what life was like without her. Caden is such a great big brother and he loves his baby so much. Here are some pictures of the last couple of weeks.

Day 6

Caden and Mimi after giving Kinsey her first bath.
Kinsey had her first bath tonight. She also noticed what a mirror was for the first time too.

Caden lays on the floor and enjoys a family past time favorite, "Ring Pop" from his Uncle Don.

Wide eyed and looking around.

The blessing of being a "Grammy."
