The Beach and a Nun

The beautiful bridge that takes you over the inter coastal to the beach.

Trying to get the bird.

What a beautiful baby!

He loves laying in the sand.

Today my mom and I took the kids to McCarther Beach State Park. It is a beautiful place with trails and the beach. It was Kinsey's first time at the beach. She loved it and Caden liked playing in the sand.
While we were there, we met an older lady. She was there by herself and wanted some company. She is a nun and helps take care of her "sisters" who are also nuns. As we were talking, she told me about the 7 sacraments and how they are very important. She spent a lot of time talking about how we need to confess our sins to the priest. I explained to her that we believe we can go straight to Jesus.
How thankful I am to know that I have a God who I can talk to at any time. It is just like our God to want to have such a relationship with us that He sent Jesus, Our one and only High Priest.
"Now there have been many of those priests, since death prevented them from continuing in office; but because Jesus lives forever, He has a permanent priesthood. Therefore He is able to save completely those who come to God through Him, because He always lives to intercede for them."
Hebrews 7:23-24
"For this reason He had to be made like his brothers in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful High Priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement for the sins of the people. Because He Himself suffered when He was tempted, He is able to help those who are being tempted."
Hebrews 2:17-18
I had just finished the last day in my Beth Moore study on the tabernacle the day I went to the hospital to have Kinsey. It is funny because I told Jody I didn't think God would bring her into the world until I had finished the study. It is a great study on the tabernacle and how Jesus is our High Priest. I would recommend the study to anyone.
